Classrooms & Computer Labs

Students surrounded by LED screens in a business school classroom

What’s inside my classroom?

Most of our classrooms have been upgraded to include Crestron control panels, simplifying control of presentation hardware located in the rack and consoles. These rooms include rack mounted PC computers, laptop and network connectivity, document cameras, and Blu-ray players.

Larger lecture halls are equipped with face-tracking PTZ cameras and ceiling microphone arrays. Most classrooms have a ceiling mounted webcam for remote participation.

Displays are typically ceiling-hung high definition, high lumen data projectors or large wall mounted flat screens. Many of our classrooms include touch enabled Sharp annotation monitors or dry-erase annotation boards as well as wireless presentation capabilities through Mersive Solstice and Apple Airplay.

Academic Media also supports event spaces located in Slavin Center, The Center at Moore, Aquinas Lounge, Smith Concert Hall and other non-classroom facilities located across the campus.
