Windows 10
- Click on the wireless icon in the taskbar.
- Choose PC-Secure.
- Enter your Net ID and password when prompted.
- Click Connect.

Chrome OS
- Click on the wireless icon in the taskbar.
- Click on the button that says “no network.”
- Click on PC-Secure.
- Under EAP method, choose PEAP.
- Under EAP Phase 2 authentication, choose MSCHAPv2.
- Under Server CA Certificate, choose Do not check.
- Enter your network username under Identity.
- Enter your network password under Password.
- Leave Anonymous Identity blank.
- Click Connect.
- You should now be connected.
Apple iOS Devices
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap PC-Secure.
- Enter your network username and password when prompted and tap Join
- Tap Trust when prompted with the certificate.
- You should now be connected.
If you have trouble connecting after your password has been changed, tap the blue “i” icon to the right of PC-Secure and then “Forget This Network.”
Android Devices
Please note that Android devices may have differences in the user interface. This is an example using a Google Nexus phone running Android 8.x.
- Find where available networks are listed on your device.
- Select the PC-Secure network.
- For EAP method, select PEAP.
- For Phase 2 authentication, select MSCHAPv2
- For CA certificate, select Use system certificates.
- For Domain, enter providence.edu.
- For Identity, enter your network username.
- Leave Anonymous Identity blank.
- For password, enter your network password.
- Select Connect.
If you have trouble connecting after your password has been changed, tap and hold on PC-Secure and select Modify to change your password in the network settings.
