  1. Click on the wireless icon in the taskbar.
  2. Choose PC-Secure.
  3. Enter your Net ID and password when prompted.
  4. Click Connect.

Chrome ​​OS

  1. Click on the wireless icon in the taskbar.
  2. Click on the button that says “no network.”
  3. Click on PC-Secure.
  4. Under EAP method, choose PEAP.
  5. Under EAP Phase 2 authentication, choose MSCHAPv2.
  6. Under Server CA Certificate, choose Do not check.
  7. Enter your network username under Identity.
  8. Enter your network password under Password.
  9. Leave Anonymous Identity blank.
  10. Click Connect.
  11. You should now be connected.

Apple iOS De​vices

  1. ​Go to Settings.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap PC-Secure.
  4. Enter your network username​ and password when prompted and tap Join
  5. Tap Trust when prompted with the certificate.
  6. You should now be connected.

If you have trouble connecting after your password has been changed, tap the blue “i” icon to the right of PC-Secure and then “Forget This Network.”​

Android Devi​​ces

Please note that Android devices may have differences in the user interface. This is an example using a Google Nexus phone running Android 8.x.

  1. ​Find where available networks are listed on your device.
  2. Select the PC-Secure network.
  3. For EAP method, select PEAP.
  4. For Phase 2 authentication, select MSCHAPv2
  5. For CA certificate, select Use system certificates.
  6. For Domain, enter providence.edu.
  7. For Identity, enter your network username.
  8. Leave Anonymous Identity blank.
  9. For password, enter your network password.
  10. Select Connect.

If you have ​trouble connecting after your password has been changed, tap and hold on PC-Secure and select Modify to change your password in the network settings.​
