- Shared calendar
- Collaborative documents in Office 365 apps
- Shared file storage
- Chat
- Shifts app for employee scheduling
- Planner app for team to-do lists and tracking
- Private channels
- Breakout rooms
Feature Comparison: Zoom vs. Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is available on all devices, including mobile, so you can work and collaborate from anywhere at any time.
Teams for Faculty
- Teams is an optional tool that can be used to augment your instruction.
- School Data Sync (SDS) will automatically create Microsoft Class Teams with official course rosters. Rosters will update daily as students add and drop courses.
- Courses created in Sakai will also be created in Teams with the same name.
- You must “Activate” the Team for student use, much like you must “publish” a Sakai course site.
- You can post a link to your Team in Sakai (use the ellipsis to the right of the Team name to get link).
